She also utilizes her moderation abilities to conduct brainstorming and strategy sessions with client cross-functional teams. Kristen's research experience spans the entire product lifecycle and includes food, beverage, cosmetics, personal care, healthcare, home care, consumer durables, nonprofit, and financial industries.

With 15+ years' experience in sensory & consumer research, Avishan directs The Institute for Sensory Research. She has an extensive background in sensory science for manufacturers and brings a realistic and holistic perspective to the research process. Avishan thoroughly understands the product development cycle and applies rigorous methodology in designing and executing high-quality research. Avishan holds a B.S. in Nutritional Sciences and an M.S. in Sensory and Food Science from Rutgers, the State University of NJ. She is affiliated with Institute of Food Technologists and the Society of Sensory Professionals.

Ashley has conducted both domestic and international research, including focus groups and in-home interviews.
